Location: Dayton, OH

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Job Type: Seasonal

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Planes Companies is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in our Dayton, OH facility. This hands‑on role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and supporting a safe, organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

• Manage inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and support timely replenishment
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately to meet customer and shipping requirements
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes as assigned
• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement
• Assist with packaging and quality control following established procedures
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment that complies with OSHA safety standards
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve workflow efficiency

• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Experience with inventory systems such as AS400 is a plus
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks
• Strong knowledge of material handling techniques and warehouse safety practices
• Mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and dependable work ethic
