Compensation: Competitive Base + 20% Annual Bonus Focus: Project Documentation, Financial Controls, and Procore Administration
We are representing a National Leader in Industrial Development currently executing a flagship 150MW Hyperscale Data Center conversion in Michigan City. As the firm acts as both the Developer and Lead Contractor, our project teams require high-level administrative support to manage the complex workflows of a Tier III/IV mission-critical build.
We are seeking a "tech-native" Project Administrator / Controls Coordinator to serve as the central point of contact for project documentation, subcontractor compliance, and financial tracking. This is a career-track role within a rapidly growing division—ideal for an organized professional who wants to move into Project Management or Project Controls as the firm expands nationally.
Key Responsibilities- Procore Administration: Act as the "Power User" for the project’s management software. Lead the processing of RFIs, Submittals, and Transmittals to ensure no delays in the field.
- Document Control: Manage the lifecycle of all technical drawings and specifications, ensuring the site team and subcontractors are always working from the most current 3D renderings and plans.
- Financial Coordination: Assist the Project Manager with budget tracking, processing subcontractor pay applications, and managing the change order log for a multi-million dollar infrastructure build.
- Compliance & Onboarding: Oversee subcontractor insurance (COI) tracking, safety documentation, and site-specific onboarding requirements.
- Reporting: Generate weekly progress reports and dashboards for senior leadership, tracking key performance metrics and schedule milestones.
- Closeout Management: Lead the collation of O&M manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings to ensure a seamless handover to the tech client.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Construction Administration, Project Coordination, or Project Controls
. Experience in Data Centers or Large Industrial projects is a significant advantage. - Tech Proficiency: You must be highly proficient in Procore
. We are looking for someone who understands digital workflows and can train others on the system if needed. - The "Hungry" Factor: We value proactive problem-solvers. You should be someone who "chases" answers from subcontractors and vendors rather than waiting for them to call you.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail—managing a 150MW site requires a high degree of precision in document naming and filing.
- Presence: This is a 100% on-site role in Michigan City, IN.
- Total Rewards: Competitive base salary +
20% Annual Bonus
. - Work-Life Flex: Monthly "Extended Weekend" schedule (Friday noon departure) for those traveling from out of town.
- Core Benefits: 15 Days PTO, 401k with 3.5% match, and comprehensive Health/Dental/Vision for you and your family.
