Fibre Network Connectivity Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Fibre Network Connectivity Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale Data Center construction projects focused on fibre optic connectivity, ISP/OSP network deployment, and telecommunications infrastructure. This is a full-time, on-site position (Monday-Friday). Previous Data Center construction experience is essential. The successful candidate will oversee fibre installation, network coordination, and connectivity across complex mission-critical environments, managing projects from planning through commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of fibre network and connectivity projects from planning through commissioning and turnover.
• Oversee ISP and OSP fibre installation and infrastructure activities.
• Coordinate fibre routing, splicing, testing, and connectivity between buildings and critical infrastructure systems.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and utility coordination.
• Track project schedules, budgets, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Ensure all work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with construction, electrical, low-voltage, security, and IT/network teams throughout project execution.
• Support fibre testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and final project handover.
• Identify project risks and proactively resolve field or connectivity issues.
• Lead client meetings and provide regular project updates.

Required Experience &

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing fibre optic, telecommunications, or network infrastructure projects.
• Previous Data Center construction experience is essential.
• Must be available to work on-site Monday-Friday.
• Strong knowledge of: ISP (Inside Plant) fibre systems OSP (Outside Plant) fibre infrastructure Fibre splicing, testing, and commissioning Structured cabling and telecommunications systems Network connectivity and pathway coordination Experience using OTDR and fibre certification testing equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate with a wide range of project stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience with utility coordination, underground duct banks, and conduit infrastructure is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline is preferred.
