Room Cleaning Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Room Cleaning Specialist to ensure our hotel guest rooms are impeccably maintained and meet high standards of cleanliness. You will play a crucial role in providing a welcoming environment for our guests by performing the following duties:

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms according to standardized procedures.
• Monitor and log the status of each room, communicating updates as necessary.
• Check and replenish the cleaning cart with necessary supplies.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and stretching while carrying out job responsibilities.
• Remove soiled linens and replace them with fresh, clean linen.
• Understand and adhere to verbal and written instructions, safety regulations, and job-related guidelines.
• Conduct deep cleaning of rooms monthly during designated floor closures.
• Collect and dispose of trash efficiently.
• Complete other miscellaneous duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Engage professionally with guests, supervisors, and team members.

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Ability to clean 14-15 rooms within an 8-hour shift.
• Familiarity and proficiency in working with cleaning chemicals.
• Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Capability to push and pull a cleaning cart that weighs up to 200 pounds.
