Monday through Friday + Overtime/Weekends

1st Shift: 5:50AM to 2:00PM

Performs the receipt of incoming goods and/or shipments of finished goods in compliance with established procedures. Provide administrative support to the warehouse leadership team.

• Routine duties of checking in drivers, reviewing Bill of Lading, verifying trailer seals, scheduling appointments, maintaining shipping and/or receiving documentation, reconciling receipt information, and maintaining daily reports
• Ability to drive a forklift (preferred but not required)
• Prepares orders by processing shipments and sample orders; packing boxes; staging orders in delivery area
• Verifies that the goods are intact and reports any defects
• Completes receipt and delivery of parcel packages to order requestor(s)
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining a clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Communicates and cooperates with supervisors and coworkers
• Other duties as assigned

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Teamwork, coordination, organization, time management, communication, documentation skills, dependability, forklift experience (preferred but not required), SAP experience (preferred but not required), Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility
• Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment
• May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and comply with OSHA standards
• Frequent exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors
• Safety glasses, facemasks, and hairnets (where applicable) may be required while performing a specific task

Read, write, and speak English. Able to communicate and take direction from lead/supervisor/manager.

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or six to twelve months related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
