SHIPPING/RECEIVING OPERATOR

Position Summary:Receive all products into the warehouse and load outbound shipments

Pick merchandise from warehouse for orders and review each order for accurate counts

Use the computer system to do various transactions for shipping/receiving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Processing material through the organization
• Stocking and delivery of parts, supplies, equipment, and products to the production floor
• Movement of materials in our organization to ensure flow through to the supply chain
• Operate forklift truck
• Maintenance of warehouse/forklift equipment
• Perform other assigned duties
• Kitting and packaging product

Position Requirements:

• Read and follow written and visual work instructions
• Operate a scale to complete weight counts
• Counting (up to 100)
• Tact and human relations skills
• Have certificate or training by the Company on forklift, that meets OSHA standards (Must be 18 years of age or older to operate forklift)
• Knowledge of safety concerns

Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to lift up to 15-20 pounds (frequently)
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds (infrequently)
• Ability to visually identify fine details for completion of quality check

Shift:8-hour shift

Work Location:In person, Company does not provide relocation assistance.
