We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and professional Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our home health agency in a Full-time, weekday capacity to provide care and support for a pediatric client (5-years old) in Michigan City, Indiana.

- RN Hourly: $37 - $40
- LPN Hourly: $28 - $30

Position SummaryPerforms skilled nursing functions in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws and within the guidelines of his/her professional organization and agency. All functions shall be performed in accordance with the established policies and practices and state Nurse Practice Act. The LPN/RN delivers care to clients as delegated by the RN Case Manager.

Clinical Administrator/Director of Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in Indiana.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a home health or acute care setting or equivalent experience required. 2+ years of in-home care experience is preferred.
- At least 1 year of paid, direct experience caring for children is required (2+ years preferred).
- Active CPR and First Aid Certifications required (or willingness to obtained prior to hire date through our agency or accredited third party).
- Strong background in nursing, patient care, and confidentiality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attendance and dependability track record with previous employers.
- Desirable character traits: reliable, honest beyond reproach, professional, compassionate, detail-oriented (in care + documentation), accountable, friendly and accommodating, respectful, and positive.
- Ability and willingness to perform all duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary, including essential physical demands as outlined.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
