OverviewTo handle duties of all incoming and outgoing materials in support of production.
Responsibilities- Adherence to established safety policies, procedures and practices
- Supports the organization’s efforts toward continuous improvement
- Supports the organization’s goals and values
- Demonstrates teamwork by collaborating with others to improve overall standards of performance and service
- Provides good customer service to all customers, both internal and external
- Detects and reports defective materials, equipment or facilities to immediate supervisor.
- Maintains supplies at an adequate level.
- Maintains work area in clean, orderly condition and practices 5S procedures.
- Performs various duties as assigned.
- Performs work in compliance with quality and environmental procedures.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule with little notice as required by business needs.
- Receiving:
- Verifies all incoming shipments for accuracy (item, quantity, vendor, PO#) and accurately enters receipt into ERP system.
- After receipt of material, prints and applies receiving labels to correct items.
- Responsible for warehouse organization, accuracy of storage and safety.
- Unloads trucks in a timely manner.
- Maintains file of supplier packing slips and resolves receiving discrepancies.
- Loads outbound trucks and assists drivers with documentation.
- Adheres to all customer-defined label/packaging requirements.
- Supervisory responsibilities:
None.

Education and/or Experience- High School Diploma/GED required or one to three months related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the interviewer.
- Basic computer/Windows knowledge required. Must possess ability to learn various computer systems for data entry.
