Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk

Lake City Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk. This position plays an important role in supporting the financial operations of the district through accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, deposits, reporting, and customer service functions.

• Part-time position
• 24 hours per week
• 12-month, 260-day work year
• Hourly wage range: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
• Salary and benefits determined by Board-approved individual work agreement

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, or school finance experience preferred
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with financial software systems preferred

• Process accounts payable and receivable functions
• Prepare deposits, invoices, and financial reports
• Assist with purchasing and vendor management
• Complete state and federal reporting requirements
• Support district office operations and provide customer service to staff, families, and community members
