Controller, Accounting, Financial Compliance

Upper Great Lakes Family Health is seeking a Controller who will be responsible for general accounting operations including, but not limited to,budget management, timely month-end close, financial reporting, analysis and monitoring of financial status, management of payroll and accounts payable,governmental reporting, and supervision of accounting staff.

Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center (UGL) is a community-based medical, dental,and behavioral healthcare center. We aredesignated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), providing services regardless of language,gender, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, physical and mental capacity, age, religion, housing status and ability to pay.

• Bachelor’s degreein finance, accounting or business administration
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements, as wellas experience processing payroll.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial and payroll information.
