This position will be responsible for Indirect Tax Compliance.
Job Responsibilities- Tangible Personal Property Tax Compliance
- File Returns
- Assessment Review
- File Protests
- Review Tax Bills
- Prepare Check Requests
- Invoice Customers
- Reconcile State Balances to G/L
- Monthly Journal Entries
- Audit Defense, Customer Inquiries, and Special Projects
- Bachelor's degree, Accounting / Finance major is preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail/accuracy
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Self-motivated and independent
- Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, V Lookup)
- Willingness to learn and apply AI tools to enhance efficiency
