We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to serve as a financial partner to company leadership of $10M rotational molding company. This position is ideal for a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or experienced Controller seeking a smaller-company environment where they can make a direct impact.

The successful candidate will oversee the monthly financial close process, support inventory accounting, work closely with operations, and help leadership understand business performance and profitability.

• Lead the monthly accounting close process in coordination with the holding company.
• Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Ensure financial reporting is accurate and compliant with GAAP.
• Analyze monthly operating results and provide insights to company leadership.
• Partner with the President to review financial performance, trends, and profitability.
• Oversee inventory accounting and collaborate with operations to improve accuracy and controls.
• Support and provide leadership to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Develop and improve accounting procedures, reporting processes, and internal controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial planning activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Coordinate annual audits and external reporting requirements.
• Serve as the primary accounting resource for the business and liaison with the holding company.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing and inventory accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading month-end close activities.
• Ability to analyze financial results and communicate findings to non-financial leaders.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with systems.
