Senior Accounting Manager - Financial Reporting

Location: Washington

My client is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager – Financial Reporting with experience in the energy, real estate or public accounting industries to assist with their day-to-day accounting and finance operations in their Washington, DC office. The ideal person for the Senior Accounting Manager – Financial Reporting position will assist with financial reporting, producing consolidated financial statements, reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing monthly financial reports, posting the appropriate journal entries;

including intercompany transactions, supporting the audits, and having an overall understanding of ASC principles and accounting under US GAAP standards. Daily responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Manager – Financial Reporting include:
· Assist with monthly financial reporting.
· Consolidate financial statements.
· Prepare appropriate journal entries.
· Reconcile various balance sheet accounts.
· Produce financial reporting packages.
· Ensure accounting is in compliance with US GAAP.
