Position summary
This support professional is key to providing excellent service to students, faculty, and the community. Friendly, and welcoming this person will provide comprehensive assistance with the graduate admissions and accreditation process, the onsite-clinic, bulletin changes, course scheduling, and other designated processes unique to the running the programs.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Open and Close the CSD office
  • Assists with projects and other standard tasks
  • Schedules appointments, and meetings
  • Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Answer phones
  • Assist with managing the Speech-Language & Hearing Clinic
  • Assist in the managing of program directors' calendar
  • Assist with the mainenance of student and client electronic files
  • Distribute Undergraduate and Graduate program information both electronically and US Mail - as needed
  • Assist with the managing of financial records of the CSD programs - monthly
  • Assist program director with admissions for the graduate program - seasonal
  • Assist in making faculty travel arrangements - including air/car/hotel - as needed
  • Prepare faculty meeting agenda and record school faculty/staff meeting minutes - weekly
  • Assist with completing contract/adjunct faculty contracts - each semester
  • Update course schedule - each semester
  • Update school webpage - as needed
  • Assist in seasonal decorations and displays for the school - as needed
  • Assist with preparation for graduate orientation, white coat ceremony for graduation, retreats, and other events within the School
  • Assist with data collection and preparation for accreditation visits and maintenance
  • Assist students with petitions, and other forms

Abble to sit and stand for various periods of time

Work environment
Works primarily indoors in a professional academic office with open space, moderate noise and regular foot traffic of faculty, staff and students. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
