Harvest – Scale Clerk
Raise is currently hiring a Harvest – Scale Clerk in Grand Ledge, MI on behalf of our client. They're expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
OverviewScale Clerk is a clerical position involved in the daily tasks of the office (weighing trucks, grading grain, operating a PLC program, data entry, answer phone and filing). This position will provide excellent customer service displaying a positive and professional attitude.
Responsibilities- Weigh trucks
- Data entry
- Answer phone
- File and retain documents
- Maintain clean and neat workspace
- High school education or equivalent
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
- Commitment to client's goal of achieving a zero-injury culture.
- Understand and follow company safety procedures.
- Computer skills are a must.
- Previous experience with data entry using Microsoft Word & Excel is preferred
- Previous experience with office equipment such as copier, fax machine, etc.
- Prolonged periods of standing and sitting, prolonged periods of using a telephone, bending, kneeling, lift storage boxes
- Willing to work overtime and weekends
- Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting
