Position: Receptionist - Part Time - Afternoons & Weekends
Location: Dimondale

Join Our Dimondale Nursing Care Center Team!

The Receptionist functions as the primary contact person for in-coming calls and greeting all visitors. This position is also responsible for providing a variety of administrative and clerical support.

We need your help with these scheduling needs:

  • Part time - 15-20 hours per week, including every other weekend
  • Shift needs:
    • 3:30 pm - 8:30 pm (during the week)
    • Weekend shifts rotate between the following schedule:
      • 3:30 pm - 8:30 pm
      • 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
      • 8:00 am - 3:30 pm

What you will need to be a part of our EPIC team:

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate and interact effectively with residents, physicians, visitors and all facility personnel.
  • Strong customer service focus, with a kind and caring demeanor and ability to demonstrate compassion in a long-term care environment.

How you will help people every day:

  • Welcome and greet residents, family members, and visitors both in-person or over the phone.
  • Answer phones in a professional manner and route callers as needed.
  • Maintain weekly schedules for administrative staff and other staff, as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive resident, employee, and facility information.
  • Update facility phone listing, as needed.
