Unit Assistant - Driver

University of Michigan Health -  - Responsibilities:
Direct patient care;
Performs general receptionist duties for the unit/department including the answering of the phone, referring calls, answering intercom, taking of messages, ordering supplies;
Transports LTC patients to and from appointments as necessary;
Clerical duties including electronic medical data entry, preparing and maintaining patient charts, admission and discharge paperwork, follow up patient appointments;
Directs visitors, patient's families, employees, and other members of the public to the appropriate areas of the hospital
