Automotive Detailer

Summary

Responsible for cleaning, reconditioning, and maintaining the appearance of vehicles both at the dealership and at our off‑site detail facility. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both individually and as a team, in a fast‑paced environment while delivering a high‑quality finished product.

• Perform interior and exterior detailing on new, used, and customer vehicles
• Wash, dry, wax, buff vehicle exteriors
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean upholstery, carpets and wipe down all interior surfaces
• Clean and polish windows, mirrors, wheels, and trim
• Remove stains, odors and minor cosmetic imperfections as necessary
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
• Use proper eye, hand and body protection when using cleaning products that require protection.
• Prepare vehicles for showroom display and customer delivery
• Maintain lot presentation and vehicle cleanliness
• Assist with quick turnarounds on sold units and customer vehicles
• Ensure proper stickers are displayed on the vehicle.
• Maintain shop cleanliness, tools and equipment
• Safely transport dealership and customer vehicles between dealership and detail shop
• Fill vehicles up with gas, as needed
• Communicate effectively with all team members and management to prioritize workflow
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Help with winter lot cleanup/snow removal, as needed
• Maintains professional appearance
• Maintains positive attitude
• Other tasks as assigned.
