Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Body Technician to join Ed Rinke Chevrolet Buick GMC’s team in Center Line, Michigan. As an Automotive Body Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair and installation work on cars, trucks, and SUVs. You will partner with the dealership’s service team to repair and restore vehicles to their pre‑accident condition.

Work schedule:
5 days per week. Salary range: $50,000–$110,000 per year, paid weekly.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform repair and installation of major and soft parts of vehicles.
- Accurately diagnose customers’ needs and determine adequate repair techniques.
- Use industry standard tools and equipment to repair vehicles.
- Utilize techniques such as welding, measuring, grinding, sanding, and routing.
- Exercise creativity to restore vehicles to their pre‑accident condition.
- Clearly communicate with management and other technicians.
- Perform all duties with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to strict quality and performance standards.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Automotive Body Technician certification or equivalent.
- Current experience in the auto industry.
- In‑depth knowledge of vehicles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Excellent customer service, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.
