As a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician, you will perform pre-delivery inspections of new vehicles and install accessories. You will also be asked to clean and detail vehicles when needed.
Salary Overview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $19 per hour based on experience.
Hours:
The hours for this role are Monday through Friday, 11:30 am to 8 pm.
PDI Technician
Responsibilities Include:
- Follow pre-delivery inspection forms on all vehicles.
- Install accessories when required on vehicles.
- Scan vehicles with Wyo Tech tablets
- Clean vehicle
- Conduct vehicle inspections outlined outside of the PDI form when required per vehicle.
- Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service's DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
PDI Technician
Qualifications and Skills:
- Basic mechanical knowledge of a vehicle.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle tools and torque specs.
- Knowledge/Experience with hoisting a vehicle.
- Ability to lift and move accessory parts, occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to read and understand a service manual and procedures.
- Ability to track and write down labor time spent and write out any issues found with vehicles.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must meet the company's background check and drug screen requirements
- Valid Driver's License with an adequate driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
