Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, oil filter, fuel filter, transmission flush, and inspection of vehicles for mechanical deficiencies.
• Perform complex repairs, advanced diagnostics, and fabrication.
• Based on certification levels, perform repairs and maintenance such as OBD II systems, brake components, tires, tune‑ups, suspension components, aerial lifts, electrical systems, State Safety Inspections, interior/exterior components, engine and drive‑line components, and more.
• Maintain equipment such as cable trailers and laptop docking stations.
• Keep the shop area clean, adhere to safety standards, and dispose of fluids safely in compliance with regulations.
• Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records, and up‑fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• Assure availability of specialized trucks by troubleshooting and repairing complex hydraulic systems, generators, electrical systems, hybrids, and on‑board computer systems.
• Go above and beyond when inspecting a vehicle so the work is performed to a higher standard.
• Take action on work without being asked by a supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.

• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record required.
