Body Shop Assistant

Job Summary

The Body Shop Assistant at Baker Collision (Coopersville) will assist the collision team in completing various tasks related to repairing damaged vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the industry. As a part of Baker Collision you will play an important role in supporting the team to meet customer satisfaction and quality standards.

• Pre and post repair clean up/detailing of customer vehicles
• Clean and maintain work area and tools
• Receive and track parts as they enter the shop and dispatch accordingly
• Remove trash recycling materials from shop daily
• Help with general maintenance and upkeep of the body shop

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a body shop or automotive repair setting is preferred
• Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
