Copper Country Community Mental Health is hiring a full-time Purchasing Specialist to join their
Financial Administration team in Houghton, Michigan

As a four-county community mental health center, we rely on strong systems and thoughtful purchasing to support the people and programs we serve. In this role, you’ll play a key part in making sure our teams have the tools and resources they need—on time and on budget.
WHAT WE OFFER.- $33,936 – $49,951 annual starting salary based on experience.

- Full-time Monday – Friday position generally working 8am – 5pm.
- Manage the full purchasing and procurement process for the agency.
- Develop bid proposals and work with vendors to secure supplies and services.
- Purchase and track agency supplies and equipment.
- Monitor fixed assets and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Oversee and organize a centralized supply inventory.
- Collaborate with finance and administrative teams to support daily operations.
- Associate degree in a business-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of general accounting practices and procedures.
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
- High attention to detail with solid organizational skills.
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the role, including lifting, moving, and managing supplies.
- A dependable, team-oriented mindset and willingness to pitch in where needed.
