Summary

To assist the credit union in achieving its mission statement: “
PFCU WILL DELIVER FINANCIAL WELL-BEING WITH VALUE, CONVENIENCE AND EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE,” the Marketing Program Coordinator will support both the foundation’s administrative operations and its outreach initiatives, including financial education programs and fundraising events.

Essential Functions, Duties, & Responsibilities

Administrative Foundation Support:

  • Maintain and update the donor database with accurate contact details, giving history, communication preferences, and engagement notes for the PFCU Foundation.
  • Support donor management and solicitations by preparing outreach lists, drafting and assembling solicitation materials, tracking contributions and pledges, and preparing thank‑you letters and tax acknowledgment receipts.
  • Assist with grant writing by researching prospective funders, maintaining a grant opportunity calendar, gathering required attachments, and coordinating internal inputs and approvals.
  • Support donor prospecting by identifying potential individual and business supporters, preparing brief prospect profiles, and coordinating introductions and follow‑up tasks.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive annual membership giving campaign.
  • Manage email communications, schedule meetings, and prepare agendas/minutes for PFCU Foundation meetings.
  • Maintain and update the Foundation’s website and Foundation‑specific social media channels, including posting timely updates and ensuring information is accurate and current.
  • Help maintain financial records by uploading receipts and invoices in a timely manner. Assist in maintaining simple event budgets.
  • Be willing and prepared to speak about the Foundation to community groups and organizations.

Event Planning & Coordination:

  • Support planning and execution of community events, workshops, and fundraising activities
  • Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, vendor communication, supplies, and registration
  • Assist in the promotion of events through email, flyers, and social media
  • Attend events and provide on‑site administrative assistance when needed for marketing and Foundation events.

Financial Literacy Programming:

  • Support the creation, updating, distribution and facilitation of age‑appropriate financial literacy curriculum and classroom resources.
  • Conduct outreach to recruit new school partners; coordinate program onboarding, confirm learning objectives, and communicate session expectations, schedules, and materials.
  • Assist with production of the “Money Talk” podcast by supporting episode planning, guest outreach and scheduling, editing and tracking publishing timelines.
  • Provide backup co‑host support for the “Money Talk” podcast as needed, including helping draft episode talking points, supporting interview questions and transitions.

Other:

  • Seek training opportunities to develop or enhance through training, conferences, reading etc. Willingly participate in and attend educational functions and meetings as requested by management.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Follows regulatory and policy compliance requirements which would include those efforts in compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), Red Flag and Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) Regulations, and other compliance related policies.
