Position SummarySpicer Group seeks an experienced Field Manager to support construction administration and inspection services on public and private infrastructure projects. The Field Manager serves as the on‑site representative, observes work in progress, verifies conformance to plans and specifications, documents daily inspection activities, and communicates field conditions, issues, and progress to the Project Manager and Construction Manager.

- Observe work in progress to ensure conformance with specifications
- Examine workmanship of finished installations for conformity to standards
- Interpret specifications related to materials and workmanship
- Participate and provide input during project meetings
- Prepare sketches of construction installations that deviate from plans and incorporate changes into master plans
- Maintain a daily inspection report of construction inspection activities
- Act as a fully qualified representative capable of performing with little supervision
- Typically work independently on projects with complex features
- Report periodically to the project manager and construction manager
- Possibly oversee and provide direction to other construction services technicians
- Serve as liaison between client, contractor, and project manager
- Apply appropriate procedures for resolving construction issues
- Maintain equipment and vehicle in good working condition and report any needed repairs
- Keep current status with all learning management system (LMS) training related to safety
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related engineering field
- Ability to possess and maintain required industry certifications based on region
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Construction inspection experience, preferable in municipal, utility, and transportation infrastructure
