Aboutthe role
The Construction Manager will be onsite and report to our client's management team. It will be for a short-term outage assignment Aug - Oct.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the projects are successful, achieving project performance goals, and on-budget
- Work with nuclear industry contractors at the General Superintendent, and Supervisor levels to help those construction leaders succeed
- Establish a culture of high, uncompromising standards that values industrial, radiological, and nuclear safety.
- Ensure all construction milestones are met for both outage and online preparation indicators.
- Manage the installation and constructability aspect within the Projects Department.
- Develop the construction work breakdown structure, construction schedule, construction cost estimate, and constructability checklist.
- Review daily Force Reports to ensure resources required to support the daily schedule are available.
- Responsible for field implementation of projects assigned to the CM by the Manager of Projects Construction.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, project management or equivalent field experience.
- 4+ year's nuclear power plant experience.
- Manage complex, high-risk, large-scale projects.
- Have experience implementing work in radiological areas (nuclear).
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of construction, cost, scheduling, and the ability to develop or evaluate construction strategies and techniques.
- Have an understanding of mechanical systems and components.
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $80/hour to $95/hour.
