We specialize in architectural glass, aluminum storefront, entrances, and glazing systems for commercial construction projects throughout Southwest Michigan and beyond.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from initial planning through final completion. This position plays a key role in coordinating customers, contractors, vendors, fabrication, and field installation teams to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced construction environment.
Project Management & Coordination- Manage multiple commercial construction projects from kickoff through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deadlines
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or conflicts
- Coordinate communication between customers, general contractors, architects, vendors, and field installation teams
- Provide project updates and help resolve issues as they arise
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Assist with estimating and bid preparation, including identifying frame types, glass types, quantities, and project needs
- Review and process shop drawings, submittals, cut sheets, and project documentation
- Coordinate material ordering and fabrication schedules
- Verify field information provided by installation teams
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Work closely with office staff, fabrication, and installation teams
- Participate in product training and construction education
- Help improve project tracking, communication, and internal processes
- Contribute ideas that improve efficiency and customer experience
- 5+ years of construction experience, project management, or related field preferred
- Experience managing commercial construction projects preferred
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with construction software such as Buildertrend, Glazier Studio, or AutoCAD is a plus
Commercial glazing experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates initiative, strong work ethic, and the ability to learn.
