, the region’s leader in design-build construction, as they are hiring a Construction Superintendent to join their team in Houghton, Michigan or the surrounding area.
As the Superintendent, you will take charge of our construction sites, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and on schedule. You’ll be the go-to person on-site, overseeing every detail from kickoff to completion while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and your team.
WHAT WE OFFER.- $30.00 – $45.00 per hour starting wage based on your experience.
- Regular overtime occurrences boost your earnings to approximately $95,000+ annually.

- Company-paid hotel accommodations and up to $200 per week in per diem for out-of-town work.
- Relocation assistance, if needed.
- Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
- Keep projects on schedule
, on budget, and up to our high-quality standards. - Serve as the main point of contact for clients—building trust and long-term partnerships.
- Mentor, guide and provide support to your crew— the tradesmen, ensuring they have the resources and training to succeed.
- Oversee daily/weekly safety meetings, risk management, and jobsite organization.
- Collaborate with project managers to track budgets, schedules, and materials.
- Keep everything moving with weekly meetings, reporting, and inspections while maintaining a 3-week look ahead schedule.
- Roll up your sleeves when needed
—whether it’s troubleshooting issues or assisting tradesmen. - Visit project sites across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and collaborate with teams to meet deadlines. Travel will be based on project needs.
- A proven leader with 3 or more years of experience managing construction projects is required.
- Ability to manage and lead teams of 6-10 skilled tradespeople and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Someone who can problem-solve on the fly and keep things moving.
- Ability to read and understand project blueprints and specifications is required.
- OSHA 30-hour course and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain if hired for this position).
- A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Willingness to travel and be available as needed, typical of the construction industry.
