Exhibit HS School Play; Scenery

Position Overview

The Scenery Director oversees the visual elements that support Lakeview high school productions. This position focuses on the design and coordination of production graphics, digital scenery, promotional materials, and photography that help establish the visual identity of each production.

• Develop and coordinate the visual design elements for assigned high school productions.
• Create or oversee the creation of production posters, promotional graphics, digital backdrops, and other visual materials.
• Coordinate production photography, including headshots, promotional photos, rehearsal photos, and performance photography as needed.
• Work with the High School Musical/Play Program Director and production team to establish a consistent visual style for each production.
• Collaborate with directors and other production staff to ensure visual elements support the overall concept and atmosphere of the production.
• Create and coordinate digital scenery, projections, backdrops, signs, and other visual elements used within the performance space.
• Prepare digital artwork and files in appropriate formats for printing, projection, and other production uses.
• Coordinate with the Technical Director regarding digital backdrops, projections, and other visual elements that require technical implementation.
• Organize and maintain production artwork, photographs, and digital files.
• Work with student crew members to provide opportunities for students to participate in graphic design, photography, and other visual production responsibilities.
• Assist with the installation and removal of digital or visual production elements as needed.
• Communicate production-related visual needs, materials, and deadlines with the High School Musical/Play Program Director.
• Perform other scenery and visual production duties as assigned by the High School Musical/Play Program Director.

• Attendance at appropriate rehearsals may be needed to photograph, review visual elements, or coordinate production needs
• Additional time required during tech week, performances, and strike as appropriate to the production
