Job Description

As a Service Associate at Michigan Solar Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. From addressing customer inquiries to troubleshooting solar-related issues, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building a rewarding career.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to set and achieve goals, facilitate vendor communication, and support sales initiatives.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve solar-related issues effectively.
  • Contact solar manufacturers to run diagnostics and submit warranty claims on behalf of the customer.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems. Add new customers and relevant information to the CRM system (Sunbase).
  • Maintain and update customer records in the CRM to ensure accurate and current information.
  • Answer scheduling inquiries via email and phone.
  • Handle the processing tasks for completed work orders on One Drive.
  • Upload scheduled dates and work orders to 3rd-party portals.
  • Perform other administrative tasks when required.
Qualifications
  • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel, and Word.
  • Previous experience in customer service and familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
