About the RoleSteven Shannon Farm Bureau is looking for a friendly, dependable Customer Service Representative to join the team in Paw Paw. Insurance experience is not required but always appreciated. We’re looking for someone who is professional, personable, organized, and willing to learn. Customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, or sales experience is a plus.
What You'll Do- Assist customers with questions and day-to-day insurance needs.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Help resolve customer concerns and find solutions.
- Communicate with customers by phone, email, and in person.
- Maintain accurate customer and policy information.
- Support the agency with administrative and customer service tasks.
- Learn insurance products, coverage options, and agency processes.
- Build positive, lasting relationships with customers.
- Identify opportunities to assist customers with additional products and services.
- Friendly and professional personality.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Coachable and comfortable working as part of a team.
- Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to obtain an insurance license if needed.
- Property and Casualty Insurance license must be obtained upon hire.
- Training and ongoing support.
- Insurance licensing support for qualified candidates.
