Dental Hygiene, Dentistry / General Dentist
Job Description
We are looking for a hygienist to join our awesome general dentistry practice! Our practice philosophy is centered around patient education and comprehensive dentistry. The oral systemic link is crucial and our patients trust us to be a critical part of their healthcare team. We work together to deliver patient centered care in a calm and safe, yet fun and energetic environment.
Our office culture is based on the utmost respect for each and every member of our team. We have fun together both at work, and outside of the office as well!
The Dental Hygienist is the chief preventive provider of the Practice. This team member motivates, educates, and provides excellent treatment. Under indirect supervision, the Dental Hygienist will remove hard and soft deposits from teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. He or she will educate patients on oral hygiene, provide preventative dental care, take and develop X-rays, or apply fluoride or sealants.
By discovering and documenting areas of failure, both periodontally and restoratively, he or she facilitates the dentist’s diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
