Position

Immediate opening for a General Dentist at a private family dentistry in Manistique, Michigan. Service a mostly adult population (above 40 years old) in a growing practice with 2‑3 treatment rooms, 2 hygienists, 3 assistants, and front desk staff. The office offers a low‑stress environment, high‑income potential, and upcoming renovation.

• Hours: Monday‑Thursday 8am‑5pm, some Fridays 8am‑noon.

  New graduates and experienced dentists welcome.
• Education Requirements: DMD or DDS from an accredited college.
• License: Current Dentist license in Michigan.

  Experience with Curve software.

Compensation: $185/hr, $1,480/day, about $308k/year base.

• Provide patient‑centered care, offering treatment options and informed consent.
• Deliver complete denture (CD) or removable partial denture (RPD) prosthetics with follow‑up appointments.
• Prepare teeth for and deliver crowns and bridges.
• Simple extractions and pulp vitality tests.
• Same‑day treatment of emergencies.
• Single‑canal endodontics.
• Hygiene checks and routine examinations (COE, POE, LOE).
• Refer or decline treatment of high‑anxiety patients or cases better suited for specialists.
• Delegate tasks to well‑trained dental assistants to optimize dentist time.

Good chairside manner, strong communication and listening skills, ability to operate in a low‑stress private practice setting.

Location:

Manistique, Michigan. The new building renovation will be completed in August. The practice values a collaborative environment and employee well‑being. The town is very cozy with an abundance of outdoor activities in the summer and winter.
