Dentist

  • Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, some Fridays 8:00 am–noon.

    Required:

    1+ year in general dentistry or GPR/AEGD graduate.
  • Education: DMD or DDS degree from an accredited college.
  • License: Current Dentist license in Michigan.
  • Computer

    Skills:

    Experience with Curve software.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $308,000 per year
  • Hourly rate: $185 per hour
  • Daily rate: $1,480 per day
  • 401(k) plan with 3% matching

Position Summary

Growing private dental practice seeks a General Dentist for immediate employment. The practice operates 2 (soon to be
3) treatment rooms with 2 hygienists, 3 assistants, and front desk staff, all equipped with current digital technology.

Responsibilities
  • Offer patient‑centered care, presenting options and risks to support informed consent.
  • Deliver complete denture and removable partial denture services with follow‑up appointments.
  • Prepare teeth for and deliver crowns and bridges.
  • Perform simple extractions and pulpal vitality testing.
  • Render same‑day treatment of emergencies.
  • Conduct comprehensive oral exams, periodic oral exams, and limited oral exams.
  • Provide routine hygiene checks.
  • Perform single‑canal endodontic procedures.
  • Refer or decline to treat “red‑light” cases, including high‑anxiety patients or those better suited for a specialist.
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to well‑trained dental assistants to optimize workflow.
Qualifications
  • Current Michigan dental license.
  • Proven chairside manner and strong communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a low‑stress environment.
