Dental Hygienist
We're looking for a skilled, compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our busy, patient-centered dental practice. If you're passionate about providing exceptional preventive care, building lasting relationships with patients, and working alongside a supportive dental team, we'd love to hear from you. WhatYou'll Do
- Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit.
- Review medical and dental histories and perform comprehensive oral health assessments.
- Identify and document conditions such as gingivitis, periodontal disease, and dental caries.
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including plaque and calculus removal, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
- Take digital X-rays and dental impressions as needed.
- Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Provide post-treatment instructions and answer patient questions with professionalism and compassion.
- Assist the dentist in developing treatment recommendations and identifying oral health concerns, including periodontal disease and oral cancer.
- Accurately maintain patient records, treatment notes, and clinical documentation.
- Ensure treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
- Current, unrestricted Dental Hygienist license.
- Previous experience in a dental practice preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
- Experience taking dental radiographs and maintaining dental equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient-focused approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while delivering outstanding patient care.
- Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene (Bachelor's or Master's degree is a plus).
- Competitive pay: $48–$52 per hour, depending on experience
