Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our periodontal practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. This role involves working closely with patients, to provide exceptional periodontal services in a friendly and professional environment. The most up-to-date technology is available to elevate our patients' care including digital radiographs, CBCT and cloud-based dental software (remote access).

• Thorough periodontal cleanings using ultrasonic or cavitron, hand instrumentation & air polishing.
• Candidate must be able to deliver local anesthetic & perform scaling and root planing. Patients are often sedated during these procedures.
• Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on assessments during periodic and comprehensive exams
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

• A valid Dental Hygienist license is required.
• Experience in a busy general dentistry or periodontal setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in periodontal charting, local anesthetic and SRPs
• Proficiency with paperless chart notes.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and patient care best practices is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients are crucial for success in this role.

Periodontal hygienists are special! They treat disease & maintain it. Patient's become lifelong family & appreciate the expertise. Candidate will be exposed to periodontal surgery, gum grafting, implants & biopsies.

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
