BIM Modeler / Electrical Detailer

We are seeking an experienced BIM Modeler / Electrical Detailer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining detailed BIM models, coordination drawings, and installation documents that improve constructability, streamline prefabrication, and support successful field installation.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience modeling commercial electrical systems and is highly proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and other trades to coordinate designs, resolve clashes, and deliver accurate, construction-ready models throughout every phase of the project.

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for commercial electrical construction projects.
• Produce electrical shop drawings, installation drawings, layout plans, and prefabrication packages.
• Model conduit systems, electrical equipment, cable trays, supports, sleeves, and related components.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure model accuracy and constructability.
• Participate in BIM/VDC coordination meetings and incorporate RFIs, design revisions, and field updates into project models.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, field supervisors, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Generate accurate field-ready drawings that support installation and prefabrication efforts.
• Maintain project models throughout construction and assist with as-built documentation upon project completion.
• Ensure all BIM deliverables meet company standards, project specifications, and quality expectations.
