Ophthalmologist - Pigeon, Michigan

Overview

Join a thriving independent critical access non-profit hospital located on the sunset coast of Lake Huron, two hours north of Detroit. We seek a passionate and skilled Ophthalmologist to join a dynamic, fully staffed outpatient clinic and operating room. We are hiring for a full-time position and also seeking locum coverage for 3-6 months while finalizing the full-time role. The Ophthalmologist will focus on general ophthalmology with an emphasis on cataract surgery;

additional retina and oculoplastic skills are highly valued.

• Provide general ophthalmology care with a focus on cataract surgery.
• Utilize two operating rooms to perform 20+ cataract procedures on surgery days.
• See up to 30 patients daily in a fully staffed outpatient clinic.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver comprehensive eye care services.

• Salary up to $490,000, based on experience

• Valid state medical license.
