Key Responsibilities:

Inpatient and Outpatient Care:
Provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Manage labor and delivery, perform surgical interventions, and provide follow-up care. Conduct prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic examinations. Emergency and Call Coverage:
Take 24-hour call shifts, with responsibilities including managing obstetric emergencies and performing general elective surgical cases if desired. Supervise and collaborate with other healthcare providers, including residents and fellows, during call shifts. Patient Management:
Handle an average of 3 patients per shift, ensuring high-quality care and timely interventions. Engage in rounding activities, both scheduled and unscheduled, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Documentation and Compliance:
Utilize Athena EMR for charting and maintaining detailed medical records. Adhere to regulatory standards and facility protocols, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all documentation. Position Details:

Qualifications:

Licensure:
Must hold an active Michigan medical license. Board Certification:
Required; fellowship preferred but not mandatory.

Certifications:

ACLS, BLS, and PALS required. No ABLS, ATLS needed. Background:
