Your Role As a Trauma Surgeon and Surgical Critical Care Physician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to trauma and critically ill surgical patients. You will:
Provide comprehensive trauma and surgical critical care as part of a coordinated multi-specialty team. Participate in a 1:5 call rotation, ensuring 24/7 trauma coverage alongside experienced subspecialists. Manage a wide variety of surgical cases involving cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and other specialties. Collaborate with residents, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to drive optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications MD or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Board certified or eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care (ABS or internationally recognized equivalent). Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Surgical Critical Care. Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Michigan and a Controlled Substance License. Commitment to achieving board certification in your primary practice area within five years post-residency/fellowship.
