This well-established clinic specializes in comprehensive eye care services and maintains a busy ophthalmology practice. The facility features 3 procedure rooms and is supported by two highly efficient and knowledgeable medical assistants who ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care.

Physician - Ophthalmology

Job Details:

• Monday to Friday schedule from 8AM-5PM with no call requirements

• Preferred schedule of two weeks on and two weeks off rotation

• First week focuses on surgeries and procedures, second week includes follow-up appointments

• Must perform cataract surgery and intravitreal injections - these are essential requirements

• Handle 20 patient encounters per shift with expectation of 4+ clinic patients per hour

• Perform 12-14 procedures/surgeries per day in a high-volume practice

• Provide both non-surgical and surgical/invasive ophthalmology services

• Perform anterior segment procedures including cataract removal, phacoemulsification, and intraocular lens implants

• Handle glaucoma and corneal procedures

• Conduct intra-ocular injections for posterior segment care

• Interpret ophthalmology studies including ultrasound (A and B-Scan), photos, fluorescein angiography, and optical coherence tomography

• Board certification required with BLS certification

• Must hold active Michigan medical license or IMLC eligibility

• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
