- Provide emergency care to an average of 36 patients per day
- Manage both inpatient and outpatient cases in a fast-paced ED setting
- Collaborate with RN staff and APPs to deliver high-quality care
- Document patient encounters using Meditech EMR
- Admit approximately 3 patients per shift
- Participate in onsite orientation prior to your first shift
- Cover shifts as scheduled, potentially including future dates or ongoing assignments
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (or Board Eligible with certification in progress)
- Valid Michigan Medical License or ability to obtain
- Minimum 1 year of emergency medicine experience
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
This assignment is at a leading facility in Hancock, Michigan, providing comprehensive emergency services with a dedicated team committed to patient safety and quality care. Support staff includes ED RNs and one APP, ensuring smooth operations and patient management.
