This hospital, located in Northern Michigan, maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support inpatient cardiovascular disease management on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing day shift and 24-hour call coverage, with APP support available during the assignment. Clinical resources are in place to facilitate effective cardiovascular care delivery throughout the coverage period.

Michigan offers a range of regional attractions suited to varied interests, including outdoor recreation, scenic natural landscapes, and cultural exploration. The state features diverse terrain, from coastlines and trails to historic sites, providing options for year-round activities. Clinicians on assignment may find opportunities to engage with the state's distinct regions throughout their coverage period.

Clinicians will provide inpatient cardiovascular disease management during day shift hours Monday through Friday, with 24-hour call coverage at a 1:3 call ratio, amounting to approximately 10 days of call per month. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic visits, imaging and testing reading, and procedures such as diagnostic catheterization, TEE, cardioversions, and loop implant/explant. Diagnostic catheter work is available based on clinician preference but is not required.

Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is negotiable for consideration, and the assignment is structured for 2 weeks per month on an ongoing basis.
