Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited university
  • Fellowship trained
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be certified in the first three years of eligibility)
  • Valid licensure
Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management visits.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with patients and their families to develop individualized care plans, including pharmacologic treatment, psychotherapy, medical evaluations, and school-based interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant medical records in accordance with clinical and legal standards.
  • Participate in after-hours phone coverage on a rotational basis (approximately every 8-10 weeks).
  • Work closely within a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, advanced practitioners, and therapy providers.
  • Engage in teaching and mentorship opportunities, contributing to trainee education and collaborative care initiatives.
