• Licenses/Certs: Emergency Medicine Board Certified (required), active license in Michigan
• Experience: Prior ED experience preferred

What You’ll Do

• Provide emergency medical care to an average of 36 patients daily
• Manage a broad scope of emergency cases, collaborating with ED nurses and an APP
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and charting
• Conduct and interpret diagnostics, assist with complex cases including inpatient and outpatient scenarios
• Ensure quality patient care and adhere to safety protocols
• Support hospital’s FMLA coverage needs with timely clinical services

What You Need
Required:

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
• Active Michigan medical license
• 3+ years of emergency department experience
• BLS certification

Preferred:

• Ability to handle high-acuity cases and complex presentations

About the Assignment
This assignment is at a prominent facility in Hancock, MI, catering to a diverse patient population with varied emergency needs. The facility features a dedicated team and robust support staff, including ED RNs and an APP, ensuring smooth workflow and clinical excellence. The schedule consists of multiple shifts in fall 2026, with potential for future needs. Credentialing typically takes about 30 days, and temporary privileges can be granted as needed.
