Neurosurgery Opportunity At Up Health System-Marquette

- 3 provider group looking to replace relocating Neurosurgeon
- 6 Advanced Practice Providers
- 5 APPs participate in call rotation & typically take first call
- Employed position
- 40% outpatient and 60% operating room / inpatient mix
- Teaching affiliation with Michigan State University medical students
- Collegial and supportive practice environment
- Target patient load average of 20-30 patients per day in clinic, two days per week
- 10-20 surgical cases per week
- One clinic per week at an outreach location
- Call 1:3
- Level II Trauma Center
- Outpatient office embedded in the hospital
- EMR and software assisted triage system to improve surgical yield
- Staffed with 1 RN, 1 LPN, 7 C/MAs & 7 clerical
- Outreach clinic locations in Escanaba, Ishpeming, Hancock, Iron Mountain, Manistique, Newberry
- Embedded in the Brain and Spine Center which also includes Neurology, Physiatry, Interventional Pain, Neurophysiology and Neuro/Health Psychology.
