We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrics Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Michigan , near Essexville . Varied shifts with weekend and on-call requirements Patients per Day :
Average 1-2 deliveries per day Responsibilities:
Provide coverage for labor and delivery (L&D) during the assignment period Attendance at cesarean sections and high-risk deliveries Routine newborn care in a Level I nursery Management of acute conditions, including volume and blood pressure issues Perform circumcisions as needed
Job Requirements:
Board Certified in Pediatrics (No Board Eligibility) Michigan Medical License & CSR required at submission BLS Certification required Must be local or willing to commute, as local candidates are highly preferred Clean background check for quick credentialing Must be COVID-19 vaccinated DEA license with verbal confirmation required at the time of name clearance Additional Information:
Malpractice insurance must be included in the proposed rate On-call shifts are part of the assignment, including 24-hour holiday coverage Must use reverse billing with Kronos for clocking in/out no timesheets No reimbursement for medical staff fees or third-party lodging bookings Benefits:
