Early Childhood Teacher / Daycare Teacher - Full Time

Location:

The Learning Experience - Byron Center, MI

Pay: $16-$18 per hour (based on experience and credentials)

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM)

About Us

More than a daycare, The Learning Experience is a nurturing early learning center serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We focus on building confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning through hands-on, play-based education.

What You'll Do

* Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers

* Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum using play-based learning

* Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth

* Build strong relationships with families and teammates

* Communicate daily with parents about milestones and classroom activities

* Collaborate with leadership to maintain a positive, high-quality learning environment

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required

* Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred

* At least 6 months of childcare, daycare, or preschool experience (1 year preferred)

* Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)

* CPR and First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)

* Must meet all Michigan childcare licensing requirements

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
