• Certified with the State of Michigan to teach grades 6-12 in English Language Arts (BA or BX) endorsement. Additional certifications preferred.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
• Passion for teaching and working with students.
• Commitment to ensure all students are academically challenged based on individual learning levels.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with school and curriculum standards.
• Teach reading, writing, grammar, and literature analysis.
• Utilize formative and summative assessments to determine student growth.
• Provide feedback to students and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
• Incorporate technology and diverse teaching strategies to meet varied learning styles and needs.
