Instructors are responsible for establishing and promoting an effective learning environment to maximize student learning.

Required Qualifications

* Master's degree in History from an accredited institution of higher education

* Demonstrated currency in the field of History

* Demonstrated ongoing professional growth

Additional Experiences Considered

* Experience teaching Western Civilization survey courses (early and later) and / or Michigan history courses.

* College teaching experience in face-to-face and online environments.

* Community college teaching experience.

* Experience teaching diverse student populations.

* Experience with teaching courses for dual enrollment initiatives.
